Karat designs payload for medium-size drones (UAV)

Addressing the demand on the Russian unmanned aviation market, Karat has designed gyrostabilized optical-electronic systems for medium-size UAVs.

At the first stage we plan to display two devices with weight not greater than 1 kg each. The first device will be equipped with a television camera, while the second one – with an infrared imaging camera. The examples are designed to be used on UAVs for surveillance, tracking and target designation. The design work has been carried out with the aim of producing unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with Karat devices for the Russian Armed Forces.

In the future, Karat plans to expand the range of systems offered for UAVs (various mass-dimensional and functional solutions) including the helicopter-type unmanned aircraft.
